Xiaomi designed its latest phone with a pretty eye-catching design. There are textures that make it more fun among the phones in the class.

Some time ago Indonesia the arrival of the latest phone from Xiaomi via Redmi 9T. This mobile phone comes into the entry-level class so it is suitable for those of you who want an affordable device. The processor used by Redmi 9T is Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 which is superior enough for phones in its class.

The number of cameras on this phone is five units. Where it consists of four cameras in the back and one camera in front. In order to accompany you longer for a single recharge, the battery capacity of Redmi 9T is quite large with 6,000 mAh. There are two versions for this phone, the first is 4 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM and the second is 6 GB RAM / 128 GB ROM. The unit you want to review here is a 6 GB RAM /128 GB ROM version.

Inside the package, the Redmi 9T phone comes along with a charger head, USB Type-C charger cable, SIM card ejector, and a transparent color soft case. Specifically the latter accessory, it is located inside a rectangular compartment with documents such as the pedomen of mobile phone use. not to mention the direct thanks from Xiaomi Indonesia Country Director Alvin Tse.

The charger that comes with the Redmi 9T sales package supports fast charging, as does the ponnsel. This means that the Redmi 9T battery can be recharged quickly despite having a large power capacity.

Speaking of its large battery capacity, the Redmi 9T still features a fairly comfortable design to hold as well as a not-so-large body. Overall, the Redmi 9T has dimensions of 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6 mm and a weight of only 198 grams. For information, the weight owned by this phone is similar to the weight of a phone with a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh.

Xiaomi designed its latest phone with a pretty eye-catching design. There are textures that make it more fun among the phones in the class. This small striped texture also allows redmi 9T not to easily leave fingerprint stains and not slippery.

Switching to the back, the Redmi 9T camera module does not stand out much, perhaps this is due to the four cameras it accommodates not having a long focal length for photographing remote subjects. At first glance this camera module consists of only three cameras and one LED flash light. But if researched further, the fourth camera is smaller than the others.

Redmi 9T screen size is 6.53 inches, as well as Full HD+ resolution or 1080 x 2340 pixels. For information, resolutions as high as this are very rare on entry level phones. This way, you can enjoy content in sharper quality without having to pay more. To guarantee more power, the Redmi 9T screen is coated with Gorilla Glass 3.

The lower side of the Redmi 9T has a microphone, USB-C port, and speaker hole. Switching to the top side, you’ll see a microphone, a 3.5 mm audio jack hole, a speaker hole, and an IR Blaster. Yes, the phone has two speakers which means it can bring stereo effects.

The fingerprint sensor on this phone integrates with the power button. Fingerprint scanning that becomes one with a button, was once considered more practical because it will actively detect the finger while pressing the button. But now that the sensor will be active at all times without pressing the power button, integration into the button may be designed to meet a more aesthetically pleasing design.

The four rear cameras on redmi 9T consist of a 48 MP main camera (wide lens), an 8 MP ultra wide lens camera, a 2 MP macro camera for shooting with close focus, and a depth sensor camera for photographing bokeh backgrounds.

One of my favourites for taking photos is with bokeh backgrounds to make the subject stand out more. Therefore, the beginning of my rear camera testing began by shooting using Portrait mode. Although there is a slight mixing on the front hood of the toy car and some of the frame, overall the bokeh effect it offers is excellent.

One of the redmi 9T’s four rear cameras has a macro lens to make small subjects look bigger as it allows focusing from a closer distance. The colours of this lens are less bright and the details are less sharp. The good news is that the shutter response it has is nimble enough that the insects I photographed can be taken in a timely manner.

Next I shot using the Redmi 9T main camera. The result is a pretty good color. The auto exposure performance it offers is also very good because it is able to display a clear cloud texture without over-exposure coupled with the clarity of the subjects below such as trees and lakes. But if you look more closely, small waves in the water should appear in more detail.
